ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, the first Italian woman in space (in November 2014), will speak at a conference on Friday, March 6, 2020 in Sant’Anna School aula magna at 5.30 pm.

The event “A Star-Filled Sky Above Us” is organized by the Equal Opportunities Commission to explore the frontiers of knowledge transfer as a key driver for our societies and university third mission.

Rector Sabina Nuti, will welcome Samantha Cristoforetti, the faculty and guests taking part in the round table discussion.  Professor of Biorobotics Paolo Dario, as the Rector’s delegate for the third mission activities, will highlight the role of the university community in the innovation ecosystem. Dean Anna Loretoni, Professor of Political Philosophy, will discuss social responsibility and outreach activities.
